More Turkish Exporters At World Food Moscow 2014

 

36 companies participated with different products on a surface of 548 m2 and a lot of chamber of commerce and national council of specific products (hazelnuts, citrus) were there too.  Some Turkish companies also participated on an individual level. A committee formed by thirty businessmen members of TUKSIAD (Turkish Dried fruit and nuts association) visited Russian-Turkish Businessmen Union (RTIB) to discuss of the problems and opportunities of Russian Market .

TUKSIAD Chairman of TUKSIAD declared that Turkish exported wanted to invest dried fruit and nuts sector in Russia. The Chairman also indicated that in 2013 Turkey exported only hazelnut and  sunflower seed as dried nuts and some dried fruits products to Russia, stating that their goal is increasing exports by 30 %.

Russian Federation is one of the main markets for Turkish food products.
